Year in review.

This year I put myself out there to start a photography business on the side. It has come with a lot of doubts and concerns in my mind. I have been blessed by god to have met and made new friends along the way. I am very thankful for the love and support I have received over the past six months once I made the decision. Here are some of my favorite pictures! Here's to a new year and a happy, healthy 2013!

 So I had the pleasure of being able to photograph this young man this morning. It was challenging for myself only because I have never photographed a young man and was a little nervous on how to pose him, escpically since I have the two girls only. I am pretty pleased with the way they turned out. I have not done any editing on these and they are straight out of the camera, so any feed back would be great!

Mesa Arts Center

I have to admit right now my only models are my two precious babies! One is seven and the other is one. I am sure by now you can guess which one listens to me the most. God has blessed me with two beautiful girls (maybe I am a little biased) and they are so photogenic it isn't funny. Alyssa, the oldest, has certainly learned how to pose for her momma and is a great sport for me to be willing to do this for me! Again so blessed.

I have never been to the Mesa Art Center and have been wanting to go there for some time now to see what it has to over as far as getting the right shot and the right lighting. There were so many to choose from and I know I couldn't bore you all with all of them so these are some of my absolute favorites. They are as is and have had no touch up done to them at all. Straight out of the camera.

 

 

 

I have set up a appointment scheduler on my blog and for now I will only be able to do weekends until my oldest gets out of school. It gets to be to hectic with her in school and all her dance functions we have going on. I am a working mother which is why on the weekdays after school is out I would be available after four. Once summer hits and I have some more free time in the evenings and not having to deal with school work it will hopefully be easier for me to take on more work. Once you set an appointment I will e-mail you the week and a half to a week  before your shoot a questionnaire, that way I know exactly what you are looking for in our session and I can do some research on who to get the effect you are looking for. I do not have a Facebook page set up for my photography but as soon as I build a bigger portfolio of my work (besides just my girls) I will have it up.
